The Bay of Kotor is a postcard-worthy sight if we ever saw one. It is one of the most beautiful bays in the world and proudly bears the epithet “Pearl of the Adriatic“. The magical combination of blue and green shades and thousands naturalistic and architecture details and motifs can only enchant you to fall in love with it at first sight.

It consists of as many as nine islands: Prevlaka, Mamula, The Our Lady of Mercy, St. Mark, Island of Flowers, Zanovjetni Skoljic, Our Lady of the Rocks and St. George, and more than 20 places, of which the most famous are: Tivat, Kotor, Perast, Igalo, Herceg Novi. The Bay of Kotor has a long history and the first traces of civilization in Boka date from the 4th century BC when the Illyrians reigned throughout this area. In the Middle Age, Boka was under the Nemanjic family, when the population accepted the Orthodox faith.
